Join American Ancestors experts at Maine Historical Society for a day of genealogical research! While there, you will have access to an invaluable collection of books and rare books, archival collections, periodicals, maps, newspaper titles, and more. Normally closed on Tuesdays, our group will have exclusive access to the Maine Historical Society’s research library for the entire day. Our experts will help you plan your research with a pre-trip consultation and will be there with you during the trip to provide additional support. You will also be able to enjoy the company and camaraderie of fellow researchers as you uncover your Maine roots!
This program includes:
• 30-minute virtual consultation via Zoom, scheduled prior to the day trip
• Tour and orientation by Maine Historical Society staff
• Lunch
• Research assistance by American Ancestors experts while at the repository
Please note: registration does not include transportation to or from the repository.
Cancellation Policy:
Written cancellations received on or before May 4, 2024 will be fully refunded. No refund is possible after this date. Fees are based on group participation. There is no refund for services or portions of the day trip not taken, or for participants who do not complete the day trip.
