Join us and biographer Susan Ronald for this in-depth look at the life and legacy of Conde´ Nast, the publishing legend who created Vogue and Vanity Fair, among numerous other publications. Nast's life and career was as high profile and glamourous as his magazines. Soon after his move to New York in the early twentieth century with just the shirt on his back, he rose to become the highest paid executive in the United States. He built the first-ever international magazine empire and acquainted American audiences with European modern art, style, and fashions. Credited with creating the “cafe´ society,” Nast became a permanent fixture on the international fashion scene and a major figure in New York society.

Susan Ronald is a British-American biographer and historian who has penned a number of critically acclaimed titles including A Dangerous Woman, Heretic Queen, and Hitler’s Art Thief. Written with the cooperation of his family on “both sides of the pond,” as well as a dedicated team at Conde´ Nast Publications, Roland reveals the life of an extraordinary American success story.

Each writer's hour-long event includes a talk by the author and a moderated Q&A session, followed by a meet-the-author book signing.
